This book is one I'm using to help my stroke-surviving mother regain some of her mental and physical abilities. She loves finding pictures and words and dot-to-dot. The dollar-store activity books I found were a great start, going up to about 20 and creating small successes, but the higher level dot-to-dot books--up to a thousand with complicated pictures--were too intimidating and wouldn't help the sense of accomplishment. Then I found this mid-level book on Amazon. Up to 100 dots is the perfect number to build her hand-eye coordination, remember where she was if she got lost in counting, develop a nice picture, and finish without getting too tired. It's really helped her self-esteem, and she has a nice picture to show for her efforts. I imagine it has the same effect on children!

Great value for the price!! Lots of pages, quality paper and print. Love how clean and simple where your child needs to complete it to discover what the picture is. Great for my 5 year old. Including the counting by 10s at the top of the page useful reference to for child just starting out. Approximately same size as standard 8.5x11 paper.

Every puzzle in this book is 1-100. Great practice for counting and recognizing numerals.

I ordered this to help my 5-year old grandson count to 100. He is in Kindergarten and being able to count to 100 is one of their goals. I thought doing the pictures would keep his interest and help him learn to recognize the numbers in their correct order. However, the numbers were very small and sometimes difficult for him to find and he gave up half way through the first picture and asked me to finish it for him. But I will keep the book and will try it again as he does like to color and some of the pictures in the book should interest him.

My daughter (7 years old) loves connect the dots. So I bought this more of a busy-work type of book. She's learning and having fun.

I bought this for my grandson who has really been into dot-to-dots lately. He is nearly 7, and it offered enough of a challenge to keep him engaged, and because the numbers went so much higher than he was used to, it gave him a sense of accomplishment. I looked at a lot of the dot-to-dot books before selecting this one, and I am glad I went with this one. Plus the price was definitely right (especially with Prime's free shipping), as several of the other books I saw cost a few dollars more. It also arrived very quickly.

These are the absolute best dot-to-dot books for little ones learning their number that I have found. The pictures are cute and the numbers/dots are large. There is a number line at the top for the kids to look at if they forget. The pictures are fun to color when they are finished making them. I bought the count to 30 book for my kinder, and now she has upgraded to the 100. I am going to buy a new count to 30 for my 4 year old because our old one is all filled up.

My 4 year old can count to 100 with ease, but not every fluently on recognizing all of them. This is a good training for him and something he's having fun with. Would recommend it to parents with toddlers.

He told his story honestly, and at times allowed stabs of unresolved emotion to emerge above the surface, bearing evidence that this was not an autobiography told in full; this was the beginning.WMEWO is what happened during the in between, the life he negotiated with his new found Faith. This is how he fought to be a good father, a successful entrepreneur, continue to engage his talent as a musician, and most of all, be a happy person, and how none of that came easy.I was overjoyed to read about his journey back to KoRn, and the way he can look at his absence not as God taking him away, but as God preparing him to go back. It’s very touching to read the stories of him praying with fans alongside his band mate and brother through Christ, Fieldy. Of course ignorant fans would mock them; it can be overwhelming for those who don’t know to stand in the presence of the Lord.I appreciate the candor he brings to this book, and that he has retained his humor. He shared some deeply personal stories about financial mishaps and near ruin. The challenges of being a single father to his daughter were heart wrenching, but I couldn’t help but find myself thinking how lucky she is to have a father who won’t give up on her, or their relationship.His Faith is a driving force for him that he is eager and unashamed to share. Be you Christian or not, reading about his life so far, his ability to fall, to persevere, and to rise again, is admirable.As for me, I have learned that Brian didn’t have one reason to walk away from a ‘rock star’ life...he had a million. And why he came back was backed by a force far greater than money, fame, and possessions. I love to see life come full circle.

I became a Christian and still messed up my life. I broke many relationships and walked away from God (without admitting it to others or myself). This book is starting to spring hope that God might still care about me. I am worried that he will not accept me as I am now, since I should have known better. A ray of hope is in my heart that He still wants to be with me, and is willing to clean me. Thank you so much for being so messed up, and sharing how much you are loved by God in honesty. I once cursed God too and tore up a bible. It was so encouraging to know that I'm not the only one, and that Gods love is big enough to not only forgive me for my sin, but still wants to grow closer.

With My Eyes Wide Open is Welch’s second book that he has written. In the book, he describes a whole course of decisions dating back to his decision to leave Korn in 2005. From this point on, he describes his life fathering his daughter Jennea, starting his own solo career, finding the light of god, battling depression, drug abuses, starting his own label company, going bankrupt, etc. Welch’s journey that he describes to us is incredibly realistic and dark. It is almost unthinkable to any Korn fan that the same guitarist behind the multi-platinum album Follow the Leader and Issues would not only quit the band, but run into financial problems of all things, as well as caring for his daughter and struggling to even start his own music career. Much like Korn vocalist Jonathan Davis, as well as many of their fans, Welch faces mental health issues and consistently struggles to come to terms with his life, unsurprising given that Korn has touched on the topic religiously in the past, and fans of their music often have some sort of reason to relate to it. In the book, Welch describes an unthinkable amount of hardship and struggle not only with his own life, but with his daughters as well. His only daughter, Jennea, has yet to meet her mother in her entire life, and she had begun to cut herself at the age of 14. Welch gives a very accurate and heartbreaking description of finding out that Jennea was cutting herself. In addition, he gives off a similar tone when describing the process of dropping off her daughter at a specialist hospital that deals with mental health issues. Welch does not take emphasis off his struggles in this book, and even having a second writer almost makes it seem like he wrote the entire book on his laptop while sipping coffee in the airport, waiting for his flight to arrive so he can go home. Overall, the book gives off an incredible string of emotion, much like any Korn song. Welch’s problems are ever present, however he choses to use it in a way that encourages readers to hold on and pull through the struggles of their own problems. Writing and vocabulary is very strong, and this book will not disappoint anyone who is familiar with Welch or his band Korn.

Brian’s book ‘Save Me From Myself’ was so amazing I bought this one the second after I was done reading it. ‘With My Eyes Wise Open’ is a continuation of the story of his life’s journey with Jesus. Equally amazing as his first book I read, he shares his journey of hardships and trials, and of the pain of seeing his own child go through rough times. He writes with such a fantastic sense of humor that it’s hard not to pee your pants laughing even during sad stories of a beloved decomposing hamster. Though I’m already a Christian, both of his books I read have challenged me to be the best person I can be, and have reminded me of the beautiful unfailing love Jesus has towards me. Perfect for Christians as a reminder of Gods true nature and love towards us, and also perfect for NonChristians who want true answers about who Jesus is without seeming too preachy/overbearingly religious. This book has definitely changed my life. Thanks Brian for writing!

This was a really interesting and exciting book. The hunt for Eichmann had so many dedicated and talented people involved, and so many twists and turns, it's better than any fiction story. You can't make this stuff up. The book covers Eichmann's life and evil deeds plus the amazing story of how he escaped the clutches of people searching for him for 15 years after the war -- finally tracking him to a remote town in Argentina. THEN, there's the exciting problem of abducting him and getting him to Israel to stand trial -- bravery and dedication from all involved. In the end, his capture and trial did much to publicize and elucidate the true dimensions of the Holocaust to the world, so 6 million souls were not written off and forgotten.I found this book to be a page turner. I had to keep re-charging my Kindle because I had to know how it all turned out.Good job, thoroughly researched and very well written.

I had read a very brief story on the capture of Adolf Eichmann in Reader's Digest years ago which, after reading this masterful narrative, fell far short of giving a full and well-deserved rich portrait of the many years long effort to discover whether Eichmann was alive or dead, and if alive, where in the world he might be. The work of the Israeli intelligence agency in doggedly pursuing Eichmann, planning his capture, and ultimately putting him on trial (and consummating his punishment) is amazing. I've read many books on WWII and Nazi Germany's genocide of the Jews, and was very aware of Eichmann's role, but this page turning narrative never misses a beat in taking us from the war years through the post-war trauma and search for Nazi war criminals, and the dogged efforts of the Mossad and others in doing so. Even after reading so many books on the subject, it is still incomprehensible how the German army could have become so cruelly intent on treating the Jews as nothing more than animals to be slaughtered - yet it happened. "I was only following orders" is the most oft-cited response of those captured and held accountable for their crimes. You will find edge of your seat suspense as the Israeli team closes in on Eichmann in Argentina and learn every detail of their extensive planning to not only capture him, but get him safely out of the country to return to Israel for trial. A brilliant non-stop book.

I watched the recent movie Operation Finale, and decide to read this book to get more information about the capture of Eichmann. The book exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it. The focus of this book is obviously the mission to capture Eichmann, but the author gives the reader much more: a concise background about Eichmann's important role in implementing the Holocaust as an enthusiastic Nazi SS Officer, a fascinating summary of his capture by and escape from Allied forces, his travel to and life in Argentina, and also an insightful description of Eichmann's trial, an important event in the history of Israel. The actual capture mission is the core of the book, and is very detailed and well-written. There are quite a few differences from the movie, and we learn how professional and dedicated the Mossad operatives were in real life. This was a daring and high risk operation in a hostile country. The author lets the reader draw his/her own conclusions about Eichmann's motives as a key cog in the Nazi's attempt to murder all of the Jews in Europe. It is important to remember that such evil exists, and learn how to prevent it from happening again.

Wow! I just finished this book and really enjoyed it. I appreciate how Bascomb went to so many different sources to cull his information and put it together into one captivating tome.I read almost everything I can find on WWII, especially relating to the Holocaust as the topic fascinates me. I feel like it somehow honors those who perished in a very small way to learn what I can about their lives and their experiences. In spite of all of the reading I have already done on the subject, this book added plenty of new dimension and understanding.In particular, I appreciate Bascomb's description of Germany, the Catholic Church, the United States, Great Britain, Argentina, etc, and the roles they took on with regard to finding Nazis after the war, and how the Eichmann trial impacted those approaches. I also gained a new appreciation for the formation of the nation of Israel, and how it came to be.In addition to appealing to history buffs, this is an excellent book for those who like spy thrillers. It was a page turner and many nights I could not put it down! Well worth the read.

Caveat: I’ve noticed that Amazon book reviews seem not to be tied to a specific edition of a book; rather, the same reviews will often appear for every edition of a particular title. My complaints about this book apply only to the specific edition I got from Amazon, not to Einstein’s text in general. The edition I have lacks any publication information apart from the fact that it was printed in San Bernardino, CA, on 15 July 2014. Other than that, there is nothing anywhere in the book that identifies the publisher. The ISBN is 9781619491502, and a quick Google search reveals that the publisher is “Empire Books,” though the publisher’s name appears nowhere on or in the book itself (and frankly, I don’t blame them for not wanting to take credit for this mess). Nonetheless, it is the edition with a drawing of Einstein’s face on the cover, with the title above the drawing and the subtitle and author’s name below it.Einstein’s monograph on the theory of relativity is simply brilliant, of course, and I wouldn’t presume to critique his work. But “Empire Books,” or whatever fly-by-night publisher was responsible for this particular edition of the book, was inexcusably negligent. The edition that I got from Amazon is simply riddled with typographical and formatting errors, which in some places are so bad that they make it difficult to follow the text. I know nothing about who is behind “Empire Books,” but I strongly suspect that some clever young entrepreneur with access to a printing press thought that an easy way to make a quick buck would be to print and sell new editions of books that were in the public domain. I have no problem with this business model in principle — I might even consider doing it myself if I owned a printing press. My complaint is with the poor quality control. If you’re going to go into the publishing business, in my opinion, you have an obligation to your customers to make sure that the books you print are properly formatted and have been proofread at least well enough to catch glaring mistakes. You can’t just download a text file from Project Gutenberg or some similar site and print it out as is, never even bothering to check it for errors. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this edition of Einstein’s excellent book to anyone. Find one from a more reliable publisher.

This book is a ripoff, don't buy it! The "publisher", Methuem & Co. Ltd., downloaded some public domain copy of Einstein's early works and printed it as is, without any corrections or editing. It's an easy way to make money but of little value to the reader. In the "book" the equations that appear in the text were typed in, without subscripts and super scripts. Some of highlighted equations were also typed in with a typewriter. The photo on the front cover is distorted and uncorrected. There are typing mistakes, spelling mistakes, and editing mistakes throughout the document. Instead of a table of contents there is a listing of the various sections of Einstein's writings. There are no chapter numbers or page numbers! And of course no index. In reading this document it appears that this is a collection of Einstein's early notes and essays that were never sent to a publisher. Save your money and find a properly published copy of Einstein's works.

This book published by Ancient Wisdom Publications (December 17, 2010), has not been proof-read by anyone with knowledge of mathematics. It is riddled with errors and typos in equations throughout the entire book such that it is useless for anyone who wishes to understand the subject. I was able to correct many of the math errors through my own derivations, but there are many more likely errors for which the context does not provide sufficient information to make corrections, so this book should not be purchased by anyone.

You would think, for the sake of credibility alone, that a publisher would familiarize themselves with the work they are publishing. First, a synopsis on the back of the volume states that Einstein was awarded the Nobel Prize for his work on relativity; he was, however, awarded the prize for his work on the photoelectric effect, NOT relativity. Second, the description of the book's content on Amazon follows Einstein's preface where he states "...are interested in the theory, but are not conversant with the mathematical apparatus of theoretical physics." They neglected to include the following "...presumes a standard education to that of a university matriculation examination." I had two semesters of college calculus and, believe me, I would otherwise have been at a serious disadvantage in any effort to grasp even a cursory understanding the book's content.

After reading Walter Isaacson's brilliant biography, "Einstein" and finally coming away with an understanding of Einstein's theories, I felt I could make the leap and actually attempt to read something written by the most famous genius of the twentieth century whose theories would transform science and the world.I chose Einstein's, "Relativity: The Special and General Theory." The book was written by Einstein so that the average person, who was not a physicist or mathematician, but was interested in his "theory of relativity" could easily understand it in layman's terms. Well, except for the portions of the book that used mundane objects such as a train, an embankment, Times Square or a clock to describe the most famous theory of all time, the rest of the book (a good 60 percent) was incomprehensible to me. It could have just as well been written in Latin.I strongly recommend that unless you have a scientific background, you should not start off by reading this book if you are at all interested in understanding the mind and theories of this, undeniable, genius. I recommend the Isaacson's book I mentioned above as a good starting point.Not to be deter, I will nevertheless continue my interest in physics and when I have the time and patience I will start reading books about Galileo and Newton's theories, so much seems to have originated from their work. They are constantly mentioned throughout by Einstein.I

I was actually very hesitant to buy an omnibus, Typically larger ones over time have will damage their own spines from. Right away, the sheer amount of weight that is on this thing dwarves your average omnibus. Its HEAVY, you likely wont be reading this in bed in an upward position, but really -- I feel like that's the only down side to this. The pages are made of some kind of thicker quality paper that don't tear easy. It's definitely not laughable paper quality like the full metal alchemist omnibuses, and def better than the average manga paper. It has a sheen like, glossy quality to it, where the ink is very dark, and the backgrounds come off as very white.I like it.It certainly does not take a lot of space either, it's about the size of three manga across. In the pictures I'm showing you a comparison in size of the average manga size vs average light novel size vs omnibus size.I hope this helps you guys!

Excellent-quality set that comes in a sturdy cover. Very nice (black and white) printing quality. My son and I are fans of the anime TV show and wanted to get this to see how good it was...the quality of the art is fantastic.

Amazing. I intended to have this as a coffee table book but its way too heavy but I love the size of it and when guests come by, they still like to flick through it. Awkward for a bookshelf though so I have yet to find an appropriate storage solution. Admittedly, I have a few of the books already and didn't actually need a collection of them but if you havent read attack on titan, it's amazing. Even if you've watched it before (also incredible) its a lot of fun to read and I highly recommend it.

I wanted to get this book for a while now. It was so expensive in stores I didn't want to pay full price. Amazon comes through and got this book way cheaper than the stores. Can't wait to read the manga. After watching the show I'm obsessed with Attack on Titan and wanted to get the mangas but getting each individual ones was going to cost a pretty penny. Glad I found out about these.

If you like the series in general this is a great addition to your manga collection. The larger size compliments the story and makes the titans feel even more menacing. It would have been nice for this to be a hard back binding to better support the books weight.

What an original story concept! The whole "fish tank-like" world setting and the structure of concentric city rings are great built-in storytelling devices. The first installment has great characterization, which is extremely important in gore stories when a lot of characters die. The reader has to care about the characters somehow to keep reading. The author certain sticks it to us with the deaths! Certain scenes definitely pull at the heart strings. The story is scary and gut-wrenching visual story--I love it! Overall, Attack on Titan is told very well. When reading this, for some strange reason, I often find myself reflecting on the settings of children's books like "Where the Wild Things Are," but of course Attack on Titan on a completely different level of darkness.

Surprising I like this book! I usually go for the more cutesy BL stories but well I wanted something different I guess? I’ve heard about the anime and haven’t watched it so I wanted to buy the book. To me anime is always better when you’ve read the manga, MY PERSONAL OPINION!! But the book was great and I was on the edge of my seat because I wanted to know what would happen next! I liked most of the characters and I’m super excited to watch the anime now! But this book is gory so it’s not for the light hearted I guess. Even though like most of what I read is cutesy romance, I’m surprised I could get through this book without feeling sick! Definetely a must read!

I am extremely excited to give this away as a gift to someone who is a huge fan of A.O.T. The books are in perfect condition and there is plastic to protect them too. Shipping was fast, and there is nothing wrong and I have zero complains
